Fast meal for Friday of Lent. Quick and easy
- 1/2 cup celery
- 1/4 tsp. thyme leaves, crushed
- 2 TBLs. butter or margarine
- 1 can Golden mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 cups already ‘cooked’ noodles
- 1 can (about 7 ounces) drained and flaked
- 1 cup or can or frozen of mixed vegetables
- dash of pepper
In a saucepan. cook celery with thyme in the butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Heat. Stir occasionally. Makes about 4 cups.
